The treatment of patients in critical condition requires spaces with very high requirements regarding asepsis as well as regarding the medical equipment of life-support and assistance. Normally, a scheme with individual boxes is used, attended by a central control. The use of glass panels gives the nursing staff a general control of the in-patients, achieving a more diaphanous space and higher architectural quality.
